It’s All Yoga Kid’s Camp
Leap kids camp is designed for children ages 5-11 to play, move and build confidence. In addition to learning the postures and flowing, we will be meditating and working on breath. You can also expect activities that build self expression and awareness through music, singing mantra, healthy habits (such as nutrition) and arts & crafts. Through our peace education, your kiddos will grow gratitude and compassion in their lives. Please provide a healthy snack for your child and come play yoga with us!

We will be offering two sessions over summer:

July 20 – July 23, 1:30 - 4:00 pm

Sattva Vinyasa Journey - Join Cathy for a journey into the Shakti and Shiva that resides within you - the fierce, divine feminine and the masculine energies. In this class you will find your inner warrior - the one that holds inner both strength and total compassion in order to uplift the self and others. Strong asana, pranyama, kriya and freedom movement are the tools that will be used to awaken your warrior spirit.

Arm Balance & Inversion Clinic with Corey Mitchell

Join Corey for a two hour long jump-back, jump-through, and hop up workshop! Experience how to use your body type, your natural abilities, and special adjustments so you can learn to do that handstand, forearm stand, crow, or any other pose you have been wanting to try! Corey pays special attention to each student that attends, because all of us have different body types, so all the poses can be achieved, just in different ways for each person. Corey will also speak about what stops us from trying the inversion. If you know Corey, this will be another fun and challenging workshop, but also a great way to connect with the community you practice with. In this two-hour master class, we will have time for plenty of vinyasa and “research” into some of the more complicated postures found in shorter classes! This is an opportunity to really learn the poses by breaking them down into their components; finding the sukha and sthira (sweetness and steadiness) in each one, which will enable you to take that body knowledge into your regular practice!

Warrior Weekend Immersion with Cathy Connors

This is a 3 day journey to discover the warrior within - the empowered, compassionate being that is you. The intention of the weekend is transformation! To bring to light the things that are holding you back from living a life of joy, empowerment and freedom. And to discover a new place of strength and radiance within so that you can move forward in your life from a place of trust, compassion and peace - no matter what the circumstance.

This weekend will be filled with many activities to immerse you in the practices of yoga which include asana, pranayama, Kriya, meditation and mantra. There will also be discussion and other activities to connect with yourself and others (activities include-nature walks/hikes and paddle boarding). Show up ready to step outside of your comfort zone and go beyond what you know about yourself to discover the light within.

We will also send you home with practices to carry forward into your life beyond the weekend journey to keep you connected to a solid space within yourself.

200 Hour Teacher Training with Cathy Connors

Are you ready to take the LEAP and embark on the journey of a lifetime? If so, consider saying yes to this training. During the program, you will dive deeper into your practice, learn the tools you need to teach a powerful class and challenge yourself in ways that you could have never imagined.
 
We strive to create an environment of safety, support and authenticity so that you can discover your voice, shine your light and find the courage to live your truth.

Asana/body/breath: We will dive deep into understanding the poses, anatomy, alignment and how to use the body to “light up” your poses. You will be trained in hands-on assists and cues to help students into poses. We will discuss pranayama (breath) and how using breath can deepen the practice.
 
Teaching:
You will come out of this training with all the tools you need to teach a 60 or 75 minute yoga class. You will learn how to:
-cue the asana and the breath during class
-sequencing
-use of music during class
-your presence as a teacher
-finding your voice as a teacher
 
Energetic body: Chakras and Koshas Bhandas (physical & energetic body)
 
Meditation and Pranayama (Breath): Meditation, mantra and various breath practices will be taught.
