Meditation has been around as long as the mind, because through meditation we learn how to manage the mind. This is meditation for the modern world, offering a contemporary approach and drawing on Yogic, Zen, Transcendental, visualization and guided meditation to make it enticing, accessible and accommodating. In these 1 hour classes we will cover the basics of posture, props, breathing and mudras. We will learn about the mind: its purpose and propensities in modern life and language. There will be handouts, instruction, anecdotes and 3 to 4 meditations.
