- A Yin Yoga practice will open and relax the Stomach & Spleen Channels.
- You will receive two 15min acupuncture treatments in fully supported and comfortable restorative yoga position.
What is Acupuncture?
Our bodily energy (Qi/Prana) flows around the body along pathways called Meridian channels. These channels run through all tissues & organs in the body (this workshop will focus on Stomach & Spleen Meridians and Energy).
Stress, trauma, overwork, injury, parental-conditioning and diet are common elements that can block or impair our vital flow of energy.
In acupuncture, needles are placed at specific points on the Meridians where Qi collects and disperses from. The practitioner directs the Qi to relieve stagnation (pain), invigorate weak flow of Qi and to maintain a healthy flow of vital energy all over the body.

Breathing: Essential Movement
Breath is movement; a visible, physical movement of muscles & skeleton. It's also cellular and organ movement that we don't see. Concious, quality breathing is so important; it feeds every vital function of the body.
Yoga: Improving Movement
I teach yoga that improves your quality of movement. Conscious breathing is a part of every class.
Sometimes a class will work on moving energy (Prana/Qi) around your body. Other times we look more closely at how well certain areas of our bodies are moving (e.g. shoulders, hips, spine) and work on improving the range and quality of that movement.
Moving Energy.
Our bodily energy (Qi/Prana) moves through all tissues & organs in the body.
Pain or disease happens when this movement stops and energy stagnates.
As a Yoga, Meditation & Acupuncture practitioner I facilitate healing by:
