I agree to and understand the following:
1. I am participating in classes or programs during which I will receive instruction and information about yoga or physical fitness activities. I recognize that yoga and fitness classes require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. I will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain and know that I may rest at any time during a class. I understand that it is important to listen to my body and respect its limits on any given day. I agree to follow instruction provided to me during classes, how to perform or not perform yoga or fitness exercises and understand that any deviation by me from such instruction shall be at my own risk.
2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a Physician prior to and regarding my participation in yoga or any physical fitness activities. I also understand that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. I acknowledge that I have no medical conditions, including serious illness, injuries, or physical limitations that would prevent my participation in yoga or physical fitness activities.
4. If I have medical condition(s) that limit or prevent my participation in yoga or physical fitness activities, it is my responsibility to notify YNG Studios instructors of such condition(s) prior to participating in classes provided by YNG Studios.
5. If pregnant, it is my responsibility to consult and follow prescribed directions from a Physician or Obstetrician prior to participating in yoga or physical fitness activities.
6. I hereby waive and release YNG Studios, its owners, officers, employees, teachers from any claim, demand, or cause of action of any kind resulting from or related to my participation in the classes or programs offered at or by YNG Studios.
7. If I am under 18 years of age, I have disclosed that information to YNG Studios. In addition to my signature, my parent or legal guardian has signed & dated this waiver.
8. I understand that at the instructor’s discretion, I could be asked to leave the class if found to be disruptive to others.
